Erlaubt das einbetten von Videos, entweder von bekannten Video Plattformen oder von angehängten Video Dateien als Attachment. Unterstüzt werden die Video Plattformen YouTube und Vimeo sowie Attachment als webm, mp4 oder ogv. Vorraussetzung ist hierbei ein HTML5 fähiger Browser. Für IE Nutzer bedeutet das, das Sie mindestens IE9 benötigen. Dieser ist erst ab Windows7 verfügbar. WindowsXP haben für einen HTML5 fähigen Browser nur die Möglichkeit irgendeinen anderen populären Browser zu installieren (Firefox, Chrome, Opera, Safari - die können's alle). Firefox unterstützt zum jetzigen Zeitpunkt (Stand 2012) kein mp4, Hintergründe dazu unter [[VideoDebatte]]. Deshalb erlaubt das Video Plugin, falls dasselbe Video sowohl als WebM als auch als MP4 hochgeladen wurde, selbständig nach Browser zu wählen, welchen Datei zur anzeige genommen wird. Wer nur ein Codec unterstützen will muss MP4 hochladen und für Firefox ein Plugin installieren. Mehr dazu unter Firefox MP4.
